  • Salvation

    We believe you must accept and confess that Jesus died and rose from the grave for our sins in order to be saved. ​ "Because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." Romans 10:9

  • Blood of Jesus Anointing Oil

    God spoke to Prophet Martin early in his ministry to take a little red coloring and add it to regular olive oil. He has used it since as a point of contact when he prays for people. The oil alone has no power or virtue, but when saturated by prayer, it becomes the Holy Spirit's point of power for bringing healing and deliverance to people. ​“Is any sick among you? Let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord: And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up.” James 5:14-15

  • Prayer!

    At Woody Martin Ministries, we are dedicated to prayer and how important it is in our walk with God. Prophet Martin prays over all ages! ​"I ask that you pray for all people. Ask God to bless them and give them what they need. And give thanks." 1 Timothy 2:1

  • Personal Prophecy

    Prophet Martin has walked in the office of a Prophet for over 50 years. ​ A member recently testified to how her daughter called her 5 minutes after Prophet Martin prophesied she would return home safely after being missing for 24+ hours! ​ "Even on my servants, both men and women, I will pour out my Spirit in those days, and they will prophesy." Acts 2:18

  • Baptism

    We believe baptism is your outward display of becoming a new creature when you accept the gift of salvation. ​ "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come!" 2 Corinthians 5:17

  • Blind Eyes Opened!

    God has used Prophet Martin to open blind eyes since our very first service! Pastor Luther Taylor was blind in both eyes and was healed after Prophet Martin prayed over him with anointing oil. ​ "The blind and the lame came to him at the temple, and Jesus healed them." Matthew 21:14

Pastors Woody & Peggy Martin

Our Story: A History of Miracles

In 1972, God spoke to Prophet Martin to lay hands on the building that is now Victory Temple Church. The journey of Prophet Martin's Bible deliverance ministry began when the doors opened in June 1974, and a little 8-year-old girl received her sight in that very first service.

Victory Temple is a Bible-believing, Pentecostal, Deliverance Church where expectations are met through Jesus Christ. Over the years, we have witnessed thousands being saved, healed, delivered, and set free under the power of God. Now over the age of 80, Prophet Martin continues to be obedient to his calling "to preach the gospel to the poor."

Prophet Martin and Ms. Peggy are the proud parents of 4 children, 9 grandchildren, a great-grandson, and are expecting another grandson in the summer of 2023. They remain active in the ministry and pastor Victory Temple full-time.

God has given Prophet Martin a message of victory to share with a world that has no hope. Through special gifts and talents, he has touched people's hearts uniquely, whether behind prison bars or in churches across America.
